Some home repair jobs are simple.
This one was not.
My fence had been under stress for years from snow being blown against it, along with the normal wear that comes with age and weather.
By the time I finally arranged to have the damaged posts replaced, the job had become more than just a fence repair.
It had become stressful, emotional, and honestly, something I could hardly wait to have behind me.
Then Warren and Jamie showed up.
From the first time I met them, I felt I was dealing with honest, sincere, capable men.
In fact, after speaking with them, I never did call around for more estimates.
Their quote was fair, their approach was practical, and their manner gave me confidence at a time when I badly needed it.
And they proved that confidence was well placed.
They replaced the posts, handled the difficult parts of the job, and left the area looking better than when they started.
That matters.
Anyone can promise to do a job.
Not everyone takes the time to respect the space they are working in… especially when the space is awkward, stressful, or not entirely under ideal conditions.
Warren also went above and beyond by reaching out to the neighbour.
Whether that kindness changes anything long term is not something I can know.
But the effort mattered to me.
It showed character.
Jamie brought the kind of knowledge and steady skill that makes you understand you’re watching someone who knows exactly what he is doing.
Together, Warren and Jamie make an excellent team.
What impressed me most was not only the repair itself, but the way they handled the whole situation.
There was no drama.
No excuses.
No disappearing act.
Just steady communication, practical problem-solving, and a willingness to get the job done properly.

I am deeply grateful to Warren and Jamie for taking what had become a very stressful situation for me and helping make it go away.
